CheKine™ Micro Lipid Peroxidation (MDA) Assay Kit provides a convenient tool for detection of the malondialdehyde (MDA) present in a variety of samples. MDA, together with 4-hydroxynonenal (4-HNE), is a natural bi-product of lipid peroxidation and its quantification is generally used as marker for lipid peroxidation. The MDA in the sample reacts with thiobarbituric acid (TBA) to generate a MDA-TBA adduct，which can be easily quantified colorimetrically at OD 532 nm. Meanwhile, the absorbance at 600 nm was measured , and MDA was calculated by the difference between the absorbance at 532 nm and 600 nm (To avoid the interference of saccharose).

The ELISA is based on the the qualitative enzyme immunoassay technique. TheMicroplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antigen specific to BKV-IgG, make it to solid-phase antigen. Samples are added to the Microplate wells and combinedtothe specific antigen. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells then with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Mouse HA. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human IL-12. You can calculate the concentration of Human IL-12 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

The Bovine Immunoglobulin G ELISA Kit (ab273152) provides a rapid and easy method (one step ELISA) for the quantitative determination of bovine IgGs in cell culture supernatants and serums (CS, FCS, NBCS...) and contaminating bovine IgGs in batches of purified antibodies produced in vitro. The kit includes ready-to-use reagents necessary to analyze 89 samples in less than 45 minutes.

A polyclonal antibody specific to bovine IgG is pre-coated onto microwells. Samples and standards are pipetted into microwells and bovine IgG present in the sample are bound by the capture antibody. Then, an HRP (horseradish peroxidase) conjugated anti-bovine IgG (H+L) antibody is pipetted and incubated simultaneously with samples. After washing microwells in order to remove any non specific binding, the ready to use substrate solution (TMB) is added to microwells and color develops proportionally to the amount of bovine IgG in the sample. Color development is then stopped by addition of stop solution. Absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Principle of the Assay: This assay is a two-site ELISA. The micro-plate is pre-coated with a monoclonal antibody against insulin. Standards and samples are added into the wells and coincubated with a monoclonal antibody conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP) enzyme. After wash step to remove any unbound substances, TMB substrate is added and colour develops in proportion to the amount of insulin bound initially. The assay is stopped and the optical density of the wells determined using a micro-plate reader. Since the increases in absorbance are directly proportional to the amount of captured insulin, the unknown sample concentration can be interpolated from a reference curve included in each assay.
 

Intended Uses: This FRAA-IgG ELISA kit is intended Laboratory for Research use only and is not for use in test or therapeutic procedures. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm using a spectrophotometer. In order to measure the concentration of FRAA-IgG in the sample, this FRAA-IgG ELISA Kit includes a set of calibration standards. The calibration standards are assayed at the same time as the samples and allow the operator to produce a standard curve of Optical Density versus FRAA-IgG concentration. The concentration of FRAA-IgG in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
