The ELISA is based on the the qualitative enzyme immunoassay technique. TheMicroplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antigen specific to HHV8-IgG, make it to solid-phase antigen. Samples are added to the Microplate wells and combinedtothe specific antigen. Then a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antigen specificforHHV8 is added to each Microplate well and incubated, so the antigen-antibody-Enzymelabeled antigen complex is formed. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, thenthe TMB substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain HHV8-IgGand HRP conjugated HHV8 antigen will appear blue in color and then turn yellowafter theaddition of the stop solution. Luteinizing hormone (LH, also known as lutropin and sometimes lutrophin) is a hormone produced by gonadotropic cells in the anterior pituitary gland. The production of LH is regulated by gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) from the hypothalamus. In females, an acute rise of LH ("LH surge") triggers ovulation and development of the corpus luteum. In males, where LH had also been called interstitial cell–stimulating hormone (ICSH), it stimulates Leydig cell production of testosterone. It acts synergistically with follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).
